Pros

People are generally nice/collaborative. Remote work environment for *some* employees.

Cons

Since switching to a new CEO a year ago, the company culture has been on a continual downgrade. Strategy seems to switch constantly, RTO put in place without a lot of time for people to make an adjustment, and revolving door on executive leadership, making everyone nervous about the long-term viability of the company.

ConstructConnect Response

We are glad that you appreciate our collaborative company culture. Our team at ConstructConnect is committed to a path of continuous improvement. This means doing our best to grow and move forward — including efforts to improve processes, systems, and organization with the end goal of improving quality for our company and customers. Additionally, we focus on ensuring that we have the best talent to support our growth. As a result, our team members might be challenged to develop new skills or contribute in new ways. Change is not always easy, and if you are a person who is not comfortable with change then we acknowledge that this evolution might feel particularly challenging. You also mention a return to office. To clarify, we are now asking team members near our largest offices, Cincinnati and Atlanta, to commit to being in office for two set days each week starting in October. This hybrid approach to in-office engagement does not impact team members who live outside those metro areas, with the exception of some senior leaders who may be asked to travel more frequently to meet in-person with their teams. This policy reflects an effort to standardize in-office days across the company and create opportunity for more teams to connect, which we believe is a key part of our commitment to, yes, a people first culture. We value all team member input, even when it is negative, and are committed to creating a safe and open work environment. Reflecting that culture and our commitment to transparency, we encourage you to speak with your manager or People & Culture Business Partner about your concerns.

Pros

I actually waited until after the latest QBR before writing this review because I wanted to see if all the time and effort being put into AI would make a real difference. It was great to see the results starting to show. It's exciting to be part of a company that's willing to invest in the future instead of waiting for everyone else to figure it out first. I had a great experience working at ConstructConnect. One thing that really stood out was how seriously the company invested in AI. Instead of just talking about it, leadership rolled out three waves of AI training across the company and encouraged everyone to learn and actually use AI in their day-to-day work. It wasn't just for engineering either. Teams across the business got involved. The CEO and CTO deserve a lot of credit for driving this. They created a culture where trying new ideas was encouraged, and people were given the tools and support to make AI part of how they work instead of treating it like another corporate initiative. Overall, great people, supportive leadership, and a company that's always looking for ways to improve.

Cons

Nothing that stands out. My experience was overwhelmingly positive, and I appreciated the company's willingness to embrace change and innovation.

Pros

I'm confident ConstructConnect is the best place I've worked. From day one, it's clear this company genuinely lives and breathes its People First culture — not just as a talking point, but in tangible, everyday ways I've never experienced elsewhere. The culture is warm, collaborative, and fun. Management is truly invested in your growth — my manager proactively works with me on career development strategies, is upfront about where she wants me to be, and is equally open to my own goals and preferences. That kind of two-way investment is rare. Learning and development are baked into how we work. We have four dedicated "Library Hours" per week to focus on growing our knowledge — whether that's learning more about the company, our products, or our individual fields. It's a small thing that signals a lot. Beyond professional growth, there's real meaning in the work itself. We hear directly from customers how ConstructConnect has helped them land projects and grow their businesses — knowing our work helps build thriving communities is genuinely motivating. Strong Learning & Development — monthly learning offerings from our People & Culture team keep leaders and team members up to speed on the latest tools and protocols. A detailed onboarding program supports new hires as they ramp up. Benefits are generous — open PTO, strong flexibility depending on your team and role, and a hybrid work environment that has given me an excellent work/life balance.

Cons

This is a growing company, and change comes with that. If you struggle with change, take note — but for those who embrace it, the opportunities are there.
