Pros

The job is both challenging and rewarding, and you can feel the impact you have on both the drivers and customers if you do a good job. The industry is fast paced and solving the puzzles it presents is fun. On the whole, the people on the floor are fun to work with. I’d work here again if the opportunity presented itself.

Cons

-Management. There is a huge disconnect between management and the rest of the ops floor, and at times you can feel undervalued and like your growth and advancement isn’t important -Pay. There are many other carriers that will pay a significant amount more to perform the same job. -Talent. Covenant doesn’t prioritize hiring experienced people in the industry and doesn’t value training them properly, so they end up with many under qualified and under trained people on the floor, which has a huge trickle down effect.

Pros

None. No pros at all to give

Cons

I was helping out my co driver trying to do a 90 backing and because we were new and was never really trained on the procedure we struggled. So we dropped the trailer at the customer request. Well the customer turned around and said we damaged a wall. Instead of Covenant investigating they fired me on the road and I was stuck in Dallas Texas and had to pay to get home. So work at your own risk. They stranded me in Dallas. And made my co driver wait for 3 days for a solo load just so they wouldn't lose any money getting him back to They don't care about their drivers just the load. And they supposed to be Christian based...tell me what Christian would fire someone who was over 2000 miles away from their home..
