Is this your company?

Pros

There are a few good, decent people working there.

Cons

In April of 2020, Covenant announced that salespeople’s commission checks for Q2 would not be paid, and suspended indefinitely, due to the anticipated market volatility caused by COVID-19. Additionally, they suspended their contributions to employees' 401k plans indefinitely. Fast forward to an internal sales organization conference in October of 2020; the same members of “leadership” stood before us celebrating and informed us with a straight face that Covenant was experiencing its most profitable year since its inception. However, they had no intentions of reinstating our commission plans and 401k contributions. These benefits were not reinstated until 2021. I have never witnessed a company with so many inept, simple-minded ne’er-do-wells in Senior Executive level roles. It's shocking that they have not gone under, although they have come close to being forced to shut their doors several times since their inception in 1986.

Pros

None. No pros at all to give

Cons

I was helping out my co driver trying to do a 90 backing and because we were new and was never really trained on the procedure we struggled. So we dropped the trailer at the customer request. Well the customer turned around and said we damaged a wall. Instead of Covenant investigating they fired me on the road and I was stuck in Dallas Texas and had to pay to get home. So work at your own risk. They stranded me in Dallas. And made my co driver wait for 3 days for a solo load just so they wouldn't lose any money getting him back to They don't care about their drivers just the load. And they supposed to be Christian based...tell me what Christian would fire someone who was over 2000 miles away from their home..
