Pros

Not punching a clock There are students that are incredible! Coworkers are great! Pay isn't bad

Cons

* Office culture is abysmal.. * communication is a joke. * Management seems to look through a macro lens at problems that are global. * Employees are reminded that your position has not to do with merit or successful students, but with the money the students bring it, ergo, keeping student satisfaction is the primary goal- not how they do academically. Which IMO is immoral, and an abuse of the students' money and effort. * Leadership is not present in every department, as there is consistently a high turnover. * Change that would lead to improvement is encouraged, then denied at every turn. * Pay needs to be better. It looks great on paper, but If you factor the 60 plus hours most employees put in, and the $150 monthly for health insurance (single person), then the rate is only a bit above minimum wage.

Pros

Covista is an organization that has a clear vision and does well in actively pursuing that vision. Covista is willing to adapt, try new things, and trusts its employees to find success. When Covista has fallen short of goals, they have been honest about it, quickly pivoted to address those areas, and then celebrate when we achieve goals. Overall - I am very happy here at Covista. My favorite part of working here is the people. Covista has a culture in which care isn't a buzzword, but is practiced.

Cons

I do wish Covista was more relaxed with RTO expectations. I am not angry about it, and generally am in favor for an in office experience, but wish it was not 4 days a week. 3 days a week feels right. This is a very small 'con' as generally, I am very pleased with Covista.

Pros

Covista is positioned in exactly the right industry. There is a massive, structural gap between the supply of healthcare providers and the growing market demand, which keeps our student enrollment rates incredibly strong and provides great job stability. It feels great to work for a company that genuinely helps students achieve their goals while solving a real-world problem. On top of that, leadership is highly focused on innovation—we are actively working on some really exciting AI initiatives and forward-thinking tech projects. The culture is incredibly supportive, leadership is strong and transparent, and the work-life balance is excellent. Highly recommend working here.

Cons

With rapid innovation and new tech initiatives, navigating cross-departmental alignment can sometimes take a bit of time, but it’s a natural part of a company growing and evolving in the right direction.
