      Pros

      One of the few places that allows you to have meaningful impact across multiple fronts: - Creating opportunities for individuals who may not have been able to access those opportunities, leading to productive careers in healthcare. - Tackling a national shortage of healthcare workers that's impacting quality and access to care. This mission alignment can be felt in the DNA of the company.

      Cons

      Nothing that you don't experience in most companies.

      They Do Not Care About You

      Pros

      Maybe the unlimited PTO? But That is really only a benefit for the company so that when you leave, they no longer have to pay you out for the PTO you have accrued.

      Cons

      It is overwhelmingly clear that senior leadership does not care about employees. A mandated return to the office after over three years at home with zero flexibility has been met with nothing but pushback -- yet they do not care. The CEO actually said if we didn't like it, we were free to leave. The head of human resources is completely out of touch. Raises are extremely low and do not match industry standards (or inflation) and you are bonus eligible but surprise! We never get what is sold to you upon accepting a position. Benefits are terrible - health insurance is a pain, short-term disability isn't enough to cover your bills in case of emergency. The ONLY positive thing about working here was having a work-life balance and the flexibility that came with working from home. Now, if you live in a 50 mile radius, you are required to commute (but your teammates can still be remote!) with NO flexibility.

      From a dream job to a sinking ship

      Pros

      Unlimited FTO, incredible management on my team, flexibility and emphasis on doing good work

      Cons

      Senior leadership, pay, RTO, disconnect between senior leadership and the rest of the company What once felt like a dream job with an emphasis on empowering employees to do their best work has turned into the feeling of a sinking ship. The RTO has demonstrated a clear disconnect and disregard for the employees. For many, their job has always been classified as a remote position. For it to be changed just like that and now require up to a two-hour, one-way commute to do work on a computer and over Zoom demonstrates how little the company cares about their people. While the unlimited FTO is a beneficial comp, the salary is miniscule.
