Pros

Maybe the unlimited PTO? But That is really only a benefit for the company so that when you leave, they no longer have to pay you out for the PTO you have accrued.

Cons

It is overwhelmingly clear that senior leadership does not care about employees. A mandated return to the office after over three years at home with zero flexibility has been met with nothing but pushback -- yet they do not care. The CEO actually said if we didn't like it, we were free to leave. The head of human resources is completely out of touch. Raises are extremely low and do not match industry standards (or inflation) and you are bonus eligible but surprise! We never get what is sold to you upon accepting a position. Benefits are terrible - health insurance is a pain, short-term disability isn't enough to cover your bills in case of emergency. The ONLY positive thing about working here was having a work-life balance and the flexibility that came with working from home. Now, if you live in a 50 mile radius, you are required to commute (but your teammates can still be remote!) with NO flexibility.

We appreciate and value your input as an employee. At Adtalem we take creating a supportive work environment seriously as evidenced by our Live Well program. This program offers a flexible working model and supports colleagues' wellbeing, including Focused Fridays where meetings are not scheduled for a block of time, Summer Hours to shorten employees work days, Flexible Time Off (FTO) and You Day for eligible colleagues. We have seen how bringing everyone together can create an enhanced workplace culture that allows for greater collaboration among our colleagues. We recognize that returning to the workplace will be an adjustment and we are committed to offering flexibility to the best of our ability, including remote work on Mondays and Fridays. You are encouraged to talk with your manager about how we can be supportive during this transition. Please reach out to us at tafeedback@adtalem.com if you would be interested in talking. Thank you.

Pros

Covista is an organization that has a clear vision and does well in actively pursuing that vision. Covista is willing to adapt, try new things, and trusts its employees to find success. When Covista has fallen short of goals, they have been honest about it, quickly pivoted to address those areas, and then celebrate when we achieve goals. Overall - I am very happy here at Covista. My favorite part of working here is the people. Covista has a culture in which care isn't a buzzword, but is practiced.

Cons

I do wish Covista was more relaxed with RTO expectations. I am not angry about it, and generally am in favor for an in office experience, but wish it was not 4 days a week. 3 days a week feels right. This is a very small 'con' as generally, I am very pleased with Covista.

Pros

Covista is positioned in exactly the right industry. There is a massive, structural gap between the supply of healthcare providers and the growing market demand, which keeps our student enrollment rates incredibly strong and provides great job stability. It feels great to work for a company that genuinely helps students achieve their goals while solving a real-world problem. On top of that, leadership is highly focused on innovation—we are actively working on some really exciting AI initiatives and forward-thinking tech projects. The culture is incredibly supportive, leadership is strong and transparent, and the work-life balance is excellent. Highly recommend working here.

Cons

With rapid innovation and new tech initiatives, navigating cross-departmental alignment can sometimes take a bit of time, but it’s a natural part of a company growing and evolving in the right direction.
