Pros

Great team I work with. 401k match and good PTO plan.

Cons

Here we go again. The CEO started bringing some employees back to the office last year for 3 days per week. Now he is bringing back everyone within a 50 mil radius to work in office Monday- Thursday. I can’t tell if this is a silent layoff tactic or not. Either way, morale is at an all time low. We will be losing good people because the CEO doesn’t trust his employees to work from home. The funny thing about is Walden is part of Adtalem and is a fully online school. Yet the CEO doesn’t want his employees to work remotely. Great sales pitch there. Basically saying in person has better results, so don’t go to school online. There is no reason to bring everyone back. Pretty sure he’s not in the office 4 days a week.

Pros

Covista is an organization that has a clear vision and does well in actively pursuing that vision. Covista is willing to adapt, try new things, and trusts its employees to find success. When Covista has fallen short of goals, they have been honest about it, quickly pivoted to address those areas, and then celebrate when we achieve goals. Overall - I am very happy here at Covista. My favorite part of working here is the people. Covista has a culture in which care isn't a buzzword, but is practiced.

Cons

I do wish Covista was more relaxed with RTO expectations. I am not angry about it, and generally am in favor for an in office experience, but wish it was not 4 days a week. 3 days a week feels right. This is a very small 'con' as generally, I am very pleased with Covista.

Pros

Covista is positioned in exactly the right industry. There is a massive, structural gap between the supply of healthcare providers and the growing market demand, which keeps our student enrollment rates incredibly strong and provides great job stability. It feels great to work for a company that genuinely helps students achieve their goals while solving a real-world problem. On top of that, leadership is highly focused on innovation—we are actively working on some really exciting AI initiatives and forward-thinking tech projects. The culture is incredibly supportive, leadership is strong and transparent, and the work-life balance is excellent. Highly recommend working here.

Cons

With rapid innovation and new tech initiatives, navigating cross-departmental alignment can sometimes take a bit of time, but it’s a natural part of a company growing and evolving in the right direction.
