Cons
The Company’s RTO policy has been a source of contention. It seems that Stephen Beard, because all other executives have blamed him when asked, wants to follow everything Google and Amazon are doing. We should be charting our own path. RTO policy is a joke considering many high level executives, directors, etc are remote. Would love to see them be asked to relocate and come into an office 4 days a week and see how many of them stick around. Easier for them to say it’s not a big deal when they don’t have to do it themselves. Also HR checks badge scans and will managers will be asked why you didn’t scan your badge. Everything is all about budgets nowadays however they boast a $9 million dollar office in Washington DC for 3 executives.. no “normal” employee who lives nearby can go there. It doesn’t seem fiscally responsible. Employee morale is low as it doesn’t seem like leadership teams are listening to us when we give recommendations. Everything lately seems to be: more contractors and less FTEs, outsource contractors from countries who charge less, RTO to collaborate (at your desk on a teams call), do more with less.
