Pros

-Opportunity to connect with amazing colleagues -Supportive and engaging learning culture -Smooth workflow once cross-trained on multiple programs -No phone-based work required

Cons

The announcement about returning to the office (RTO) was poorly handled by HR and comes across as a strategy for a soft layoff. Unfortunately, this decision will likely result in the loss of many talented and dedicated employees. Management disregarded feedback, even though employees outside the RTO zone have proven they can remain highly effective while working remotely. Initially, when I was first joined the company, this felt like a place that genuinely cared about its employees and fostered a positive workplace culture. However, with so many recent changes—none of them for the better—it’s hard to feel the same way about the organization over the past six months.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about Adtalem. We care very deeply for our employees and strive for a positive experience. We recognize that returning to the workplace has been an adjustment and Adtalem is committed to offering flexibility to the best of our ability, including remote work on Fridays. We truly appreciate your contributions and understand this change has its challenges. We believe that establishing the workplace as the primary space for innovation, communication, and creativity will enhance our culture and will best position us to make a lasting impact in our mission to expand access to education and advance health equity.

Pros

Covista is an organization that has a clear vision and does well in actively pursuing that vision. Covista is willing to adapt, try new things, and trusts its employees to find success. When Covista has fallen short of goals, they have been honest about it, quickly pivoted to address those areas, and then celebrate when we achieve goals. Overall - I am very happy here at Covista. My favorite part of working here is the people. Covista has a culture in which care isn't a buzzword, but is practiced.

Cons

I do wish Covista was more relaxed with RTO expectations. I am not angry about it, and generally am in favor for an in office experience, but wish it was not 4 days a week. 3 days a week feels right. This is a very small 'con' as generally, I am very pleased with Covista.

Pros

Covista is positioned in exactly the right industry. There is a massive, structural gap between the supply of healthcare providers and the growing market demand, which keeps our student enrollment rates incredibly strong and provides great job stability. It feels great to work for a company that genuinely helps students achieve their goals while solving a real-world problem. On top of that, leadership is highly focused on innovation—we are actively working on some really exciting AI initiatives and forward-thinking tech projects. The culture is incredibly supportive, leadership is strong and transparent, and the work-life balance is excellent. Highly recommend working here.

Cons

With rapid innovation and new tech initiatives, navigating cross-departmental alignment can sometimes take a bit of time, but it’s a natural part of a company growing and evolving in the right direction.
