Pros

the ability to work remotely/hybrid has been a significant benefit

Cons

I've been with this company for several years, and it has been a fairly decent place to work until recently. With the arrival of new leadership, the work environment has changed significantly. The new management team tends to micromanage and does not seek or value employee input. This shift from a previously collaborative and self-managed environment to one where directives are imposed has been challenging. It feels like our experience and advice are overlooked, which has impacted morale. I hope the leadership will consider more employee feedback in the future.

We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the office environment, cafeteria, and work-life balance as these are areas we continuously invest in to create a positive employee experience. We understand that remote work has become a common preference in recent years. Our goal is to provide flexibility while maintaining collaboration and engagement, and we’re actively exploring ways to enhance in-office experiences and hybrid work options to ensure employees feel connected and supported. Pros

Vehicle and gas are perks, ok salary, but not awesome.

Cons

Slowly micromanaging us to death. They invent new ways to deny us a bonus every few months. Individual pay raises are not really based on performance as they claim. I’m not sure upper management even understands what we do, as very little of their directives make sense in practicality. The words they say in meetings cannot be trusted. To borrow an old saying: “They will pee on your leg and tell you it’s raining.” Local Branch Managers are afraid to say anything negative. District Managers are inept, at best. Regional Managers only care about control. Don’t you dare point out problems or you’ll be a problem yourself. Toxic culture of obedience by fear and retribution.
