Pros

The majority of person's employed at the shop level are good people. Trying to do a good job and in general work together to support, assist, train and succeed on a daily basis. Company culture at shop level provides a positive albeit at times stressful working environment. With a focus on building team cohesiveness. A driven desire to genuinely meet and exceed customer expectations is a goal for almost every location and shop personnel.

Cons

Recent years have transitioned senior management from being focused on accomplishing the business of repairing cars to one of focused on accomplishing the business of the business. Executive personnel have become driven by the numbers of successes on paper. Beholden to appeasing the KPI's of investment corporations or financial investment members and stock holders. Designated positions within the organization have been consistently reorganized to consolidate two or more responsibilities into a single role. While position statements for those roles have become less directive. Broader in scope of tasks and responsibilities. Resulting in an impossible task actually successfully accomplishing your job. With fewer and les direct authority as to decisions to be made placed upon everyday personnel without direct management supervision means placing everyone to fail at the whim of mid-level management. Company was bought out by competitor who seems focused on continuing the above concerns with vast expansion in the wrong direction. With mid level management, senior management and executive management decisively focused on growing to sell. This continuing the industries mass consolidation.

Crash Champions cares about their teammates, customers and insurance partners - once you get in the door and prove yourself you have chance to move up in the company.

Cons

You will work hard but as long as you have good time management skills you can have a good work like balance.

Pros

Decent pay, 50% up to 6% 401k matching is ok. Thats really about it.

Cons

Was there for almost 5 years, 3 as a GM & 2 as an estimator. At some point it turned into a money grab. They try to sell you the koolaid saying that they are all about Happy employees, good repairs, happy customers… Unfortunately my experience was always sales being top priority. Push the cars out the door so we can make the numbers. If you good with having an enormous amount of unnecessary pressure put on you and having to redo comebacks constantly because you don’t have time to even do a proper QC check, then be my guest and good luck! Estimator are set up for failure because of the amount of work you are expected to do. It’s really insane, and this is coming from a 3 year manager. And work life balance is not a concern. They want everything done yesterday! The word “urgency” gets tossed around A LOT.
