Started out great,experienced manager and a good full crew ,Within 2 or 3 weeks 2 techs left,than 2 estimators left and then the GM left,i knew i was in trouble,then they brought in a guy that i knew as a adjuster and maybe had a few years body shop experience,but he was a nice guy,so i said i would give it a try anyway,then the first week he bacame aggressive with another tech and caused him to leave.Now being on a performance based pay scale ,things were not good,i tried to tell them we need help,but instead they said they need more estimators and get more cars in , with with out enough help, and that was the pro

they should know how hard it is to get employees these days in the body shop,but instead they back stab and cut throat

Decent pay, 50% up to 6% 401k matching is ok. Thats really about it.

Was there for almost 5 years, 3 as a GM & 2 as an estimator. At some point it turned into a money grab. They try to sell you the koolaid saying that they are all about Happy employees, good repairs, happy customers… Unfortunately my experience was always sales being top priority. Push the cars out the door so we can make the numbers. If you good with having an enormous amount of unnecessary pressure put on you and having to redo comebacks constantly because you don’t have time to even do a proper QC check, then be my guest and good luck! Estimator are set up for failure because of the amount of work you are expected to do. It’s really insane, and this is coming from a 3 year manager. And work life balance is not a concern. They want everything done yesterday! The word “urgency” gets tossed around A LOT.
