Pros
- Nice colleagues, most people have a lot of passion for what they do - No or very little crunch - Studio works with great external IPs
Cons
- Can be very unprofessional, political and cliquey, your career will depend on whether you are part of the right group or not - Top leadership is often toxic, gaslighting and is just not very good at managing game studio - Total War tech and approaches have been stuck somewhere in 2000s and are unlikely to change - Salary is mediocre, especially for programmers
