Cons

this company is absolutely awful. If you're looking to work 7 days a week, 12 hour days, and then get in trouble for taking 15 minutes over your lunch this is for you. They told us in a meeting, verbatim, "although your hours are M-f, 9-6, we expect you to work 7 days a week, and check in daily, and at least stay until 9pm. you should take 2 15 minutes breaks and one lunch break. this isn't a job, this is your life." Even if you hit goals, you're discouraged saying you could do better if you worked overtime. This company is awful, "Directors" had to have a company wide apology meeting for screaming at the company. they expect you to make 400 calls a week, regardless of how many nurses you talk to. if you dont hit goal, you are not allowed to log off. They micromanage, and are abusive. if you're looking for a job in recruitment, this is NOT it. plus, if you're a nurse, they have the lowest rates across the board. NO work life balance, NO support.

Pros

Remote first environment, co workers are great.

Cons

I genuinely wanted to build a long-term career with the company. Unfortunately, my experience was impacted by repeated instances where commitments made by leadership were not followed through. Within the Enterprise Sales division, I observed significant leadership and organizational challenges during my time there. Communication around compensation, commission plans, and career advancement was often inconsistent. There were multiple discussions about updated commission structures, increased earning opportunities, and promotional paths that ultimately did not materialize, which made it difficult to maintain confidence in leadership. I also perceived inconsistency in how employees were evaluated and retained. It often appeared that personal relationships influenced opportunities and employment decisions more than performance, which negatively affected morale across the team. It’s disappointing because I believe the company has talented people and strong potential. I truly wish my experience at Cross Country had been different.
