Where do I even begin? I would give this place a 0/5 if it was possible.
My time at CrossCountry was deeply troubling. The primary hurdle was the stunning absence of a clear strategic plan. Instead of a unified roadmap, the organization constantly experienced shifts in priorities, often contradicting initiatives launched just weeks prior.
The disconnect between senior leadership's rhetoric and reality was perhaps the most demoralizing factor. Core company values were frequently and loudly emphasized in meetings and communications, yet the leadership simultaneously retained and defended personnel whose conduct was a clear violation of those very principles. This demonstrated a profound culture of hypocrisy: the rules and values were only for show, not for application, particularly when dealing with well-connected or favored individuals.
The most alarming issue was the company's handling of serious personnel matters. Workplace harassment was a recurrent problem, and unfortunately, it became clear that senior leaders were ill-equipped—or unwilling—to address it appropriately.
Alas, what a disappointing few years...my only hope is that someone does not make the same mistake I did....go somewhere else for work!
