Pros
Maybe are pros to working here in other departments or if you're a manager. But from my experience, it really isn’t worth anything to be honest.
Cons
Aside from being misled by management’s promises, employees were also used and abused! They will use you for your skills and knowledge but not pay you for what you bring to the company. You’re the one giving more and taking less than what was promised. Growth and advancement and all other promises were just lip service. In reality, people are overworked and stuck in what they do for years without upskilling or complementary training. You will be assigned work in places remote and far from home, and you haven choice but to take it. Complaining will only get you on management’s bad side and that could make your life at work much awful than it already is! And most of the time, that’s the reason employees couldn’t take it! The traveling takes a lot of our time but that doesn’t get paid. We’d have to leave early, travel for hours, meet the client, work a couple of hours, then travel again all the way back that sometimes we have to stay overnight somewhere and continue on the next day. It takes a lot of time but we don’t get paid for that time! It’s unfair because traveling also takes most of your energy especially if you’re also driving!
