Terrible communication for a communications company - Training Specialist Customer Contact Services Employee Review

Pros

Remote work and general independence

Cons

Employees aren’t given reference materials and are expected to memorize everything they learn in training. People get forced to cross train and constantly take on more work and responsibility but pay isn’t tied to your training level or workload it’s just “considered at your annual evaluation.” For Christmas instead of bonuses they gave out a coupon for $25 off your groceries because they know otherwise many of their employees couldn’t afford a holiday meal on the god awful excuse for wages they offer. For a company that offers remote work they’ve got some strange restrictions on the states you can live in, because some states have a minimum wage that upper management has admired they can no longer afford to pay. The company is based in MN but no longer highers employees from there because they can’t afford it. “At least they’re not moving the jobs offshore” you say? Oh they are. They hired a company in Mexico to outsource the work already being outsourced to them. Additionally the company recently lost a class action lawsuit against its staff because as recently as late 2022 they were forcing employees to clock out for bathroom breaks. People were reprimanded and had their time cards adjusted by management if they did not comply.
