No Structure/Standards - Anonymous employee Cyanotech Employee Review

Cyanotech actually works toward making people feel like they're important and cared about. Poor performance is coached and worked on until it no longer can be- Good performance is rewarded. Benefits are fantastic for all employees and pay is competitive. Profit sharing and stock programs are unrivaled by any company I've worked for. Leadership is taking this company in the right direction.

Some lack of new/ modern equipment, but it's on an upward trend.

Type of work is important as it's making purely natural products. Collaboration between departments is good at the non-management level employees.

Management has "lead by fear" culture, which causes high turnover. Not open to changes. Management says they have "open door" policy, but it's really chain of command.
