Pros

The company is incredibly flexible. As long as you produce, the environment is great. The people and the work environment are very relaxed and it's easy to be relaxed. However, you will be busy as they have a lot to keep up with and are always looking to show the next product for their further contract negotiations. Management wants to see you succeed and will make sure that they give you the pathway to do so.

Cons

For being a contractor for the military, they have no incentives for national guardsmen or reservists. Though they are very flexible with the times you take off (and rarely ask questions), the industry standard is that you use your PTO for all circumstances (no sick days, or leave days other than federal holidays). You have to fight to move up the ladder. There is a lot of seniority in this company and you have to push to be noticed; otherwise, you're likely to stay where you are.

Pros

Good flexibility and work/life balance,

Cons

The Government is shifting from labor-based support contracts toward companies that offer proprietary, outcome-driven solutions. If Cydecor fails to transition they won't last much longer.
