Pros

My team was remarkable, very nice, fun to be around. We had events monthly such as Fowling and a division wide Softball tournament. It was a very fun place to work where I enjoy to go everyday. I was an Intern with BCS 3 (Body Component Structure 3 - Climate Control Panel). I joined on at the end of the project - last 8 months in a 2.5 year project. After proving myself to my team, they gave me many tests to do individually. I ran several 700+ hour tests in thermatrons such as high temperature high humidity tests and high temp low temp cyclic tests as well as short daily tests such as dust intrusion and salt water intrusion tests. I also got to work with circuit boards, changing LED's and resistors to try to get the color and brightness of the illuminance in spec. This experience gave me the opportunity to learn a lot, more than just ME work, but all EE work, working very closely with EE's. I recommend DENSO to everyone and anyone! This company is truly remarkable.

Cons

One con is that my team did not invite me to the weekly meetings. At one point, I realized I was missing out on these and asked to join, but still was not asked to join the next ones, only by asking was I able to join. I did bring this up to my manager at the eval at the end of my internship though, so I am hoping he has changed this. As for other groups, I am not sure if they invite their interns to their meetings. I don't see why they wouldn't as we are part of their team.

Pros

Challenging work Great people Stable

Cons

Top management consists mostly of workaholics and expect the same from lower level colleagues. Too many expectations and too lean of a workforce frequently leads to burn out at all levels within the organization. Pay, bonus and healthcare are mediocre.
