Pros

There is a human scale at CHP, and though there isn't a defined hierarchy that gives you an obvious sense of what the next step might be for advancing your career, the opportunities are present for a strong performer. You have access to everyone and big egos aren't prevalent.

Cons

Like most jobs in Vermont, the pay and time off could be better, but the intangibles make it an excellent choice comparatively.

Pros

Very kind and knowledgeable managers, bonus structure was pretty good, multiple week training with pay. Folks tried to keep things engaging with occasional games like bingo in the office. If you work in the CS department you only have to work Monday through Friday, and my request to be remote full time was granted immediately after I had been there around 6 months.

Cons

This is a call center job, nothing more nothing less. There can be room for advancement, but you get what you get to a certain extent. The customers can be extremely upsetting, was told by multiple people to go f*%# myself, was told worse by others. Your job is to basically be a sounding board for upset folks, and provide what little information you can.
