Pros
Up until the consolidation, departments were strong and supportive of all who worked there as stable non-job-hopping employees. Upper admins appreciated and respected your qualifications. Loyalty and appreciation were in abundance and the pay was great.
Cons
Once it became all one college, faculty and staff support diminished. Tenured and long time employees had to submissively reinterview for their positions for a "chance" to remain. Since then, there is no set class room for faculty - you are assigned different campuses each semester, where you are needed. Support staff was cut in half and many employees were centralized away from each campus.
