Pros
Very low people turnover - a lot really stick around a long time. Great company culture coming from actually making a tangible difference to the world's most pressing issues on food, energy, climate and infrastructure. Open and clear top-level communication and low power distance. Taking a front runner position in digitalization and actively influencing stakeholders to create a better, greener and more sustainable world. It's a great company when adding all things up.
Cons
Slow decision making due to many complex layers of management across regions, segments and functions, and decisions being made in a myriad of forums and boards. Missing synergies that could be had if all fought the same battle. Heads of functions fight to keep their own kingdoms, so speaking up can often be career-limiting.
