Pros
High Emotional Intelligence company culture, Strong focus on work/life balance, leadership/life development training opportunities are abundant and of excellent quality, culture of continuous improvement in all aspects (Safety, Quality, People development, Delivery, Efficiency, Efficacy, Cost, etc...). Global company where cultural competency is engrained in the cultural DNA. Diversity is not only valued, but encouraged/relied upon for achieving goals. Danfoss products touch nearly every facet of society from infrastructure, energy, and food production. Strong leadership and commitment to innovation and R&D investments. Tying not only what was accomplished throughout the year, but also HOW it was accomplished (behaviors) really helps to reinforce and support the company culture and focus on the right things (the customer, and people) so that the financial performance will always follow.
Cons
Retirement benefits are somewhat weak compared to other companies, with Danfoss contributing only 3% of salary and matching only $0.50 per $1.00 up to 6% employee contribution (3% matching). Personal perception that sometimes there is an overemphasis on financial performance and cost, to the detriment of Quality (view from only one division of the company - may be different in others). Generally not many deltas for me, and I have been with the company for 15+ years and have witnessed it
