Pros
Good, nice people. Most are trying hard. Compensations and benefits seem to be in-line with industry standards. Good internal training programs. Some departments can be great learning platforms for young professionals.
Cons
The organization spends too much time planning for unrealistic objectives. Since they never reach those, leaders have to create new, more aggressive, objectives and reorganizations. Leaders are rewarded for trying hard instead of delivering the results. This favors spending hours making powerpoints that looks great instead of satisfying customers. Probably due to the internal focus, Sauer-Danfoss products and services are not keeping up with competition and they lose market share. As volumes decrease, profits decline and the sales force has to go out for price increases which keep alienating customers.
