Pros
- Seems to be a good entry route into cyber security / pre-sales - Young, energetic & social team - Good product
Cons
- A lot of the members of the sales team will have 0 input in any meetings, often leaving the CT (pre-sales) to lead the meetings. This is because the company doesn't hire experienced sales & a lot of the time the product sells itself. That being said it can be refreshing to work with some of the few experienced people and you do feel that they deserve the commission they get. - Salary & benefits are significantly under the market rate for pre-sales roles - I'd estimate 60%+ of the technical teams in London (CTs & Analysts) are planning to move elsewhere in the next 3 months. - Training is non-existent, you will be shadowing for a couple of weeks if you're lucky - Completely numbers driven, you could be sent (for 3 weeks in a row) to tiny companies with no money/intention of buying the product in the middle of nowhere just so that the sales rep can get their 'boxes shipped' target.
