Pros
Darktrace is a company with very good technology. Significant training program as part of onboarding.
Cons
Marketing is not a strong suit of the company. Inside sales folks have significant challenges to getting leads for a number of reasons. Sales Reps have to do a LOT of individual prospecting (cold calls) using a system that appears to show up as spam calling for many prospects, and therefore, very few pick-ups. Very high turnover for Sales Reps, as well as sales management (at least in the southeast). Benefits are not what I would consider industry leading. They pay for health insurance (good), but it is not an HSA compliant plan (bad). Only 1% match for 401k. The 401k provider (Paychex) has a very poor reporting mechanism which makes it hard to reconcile, as well as all 401k fees are passed through to the employee (unlike every other employer I've worked for). No STD or LTD offered or provided. Before they were taken private, there was no stock purchase program (only grants and RSUs for certain folks). Now they are private, there was a SHORT window for folks to "buy in" to a private equity investment vehicle, but the details were kinda sketchy to me in the way they rolled it out. Back-end processes for POC/POV are not well defined. Lots of challenges getting information for licensing counts and such. They are used to bringing in people fresh from college, and have a hard time with the training program with more senior folks - lots of remedial info that can get boring.
