Pros
If you're in a position in your career where you think you need a build strong industry experience, Darktrace is a solid stepping stone as they offer a somewhat innovative product and allow you to better understand the Cyber Security landscape as a whole.
Cons
Upper management simply doesn't prioritize overall employee experience and has been a revolving door during the time I was there. All offices besides the NYC HQ are lackluster at best, some offices don't have enough furniture to hold all of their regional employees(there were times execs were dragging foldable tables around from room to room to take meetings). From a career perspective, promotions are very hard to come by. It seems that there's a lot of favoritism that factors into some of these promotions. Sales leadership(specifically in the Chicago/midwest region) is very problematic and use abrasive sales tactics. Since they were bought out by Thoma Bravo, there's been mass layoffs and additional pressure but on certain teams like Customer Success to sell even more. Overall, this company isn't headed in the right direction at all - they'll continue to focus more on their marketing and aesthetics over true R&D on top of an already very toxic sales culture.
