Great people but overall culture is toxic and sexist - PhD Graduate Student Researcher Dartmouth Employee Review

There are major systemic issues within Dartmouth starting at the top all the way down that continue to perpetrate a toxic culture that allows PIs to abuse students with overwork, extreme expectations, and little support. Also the funding that's supposed to be going back to research doesn't seem to make its way to the departments from which the discoveries producing those returns came from. The chemistry department for instance is essentially equivalent to a small state school in funding and resources. It's a disgrace for an Ivy League.
