Pros

Watching all the good employees jump ship

Cons

There once was a sales person who thought he was so goode he should be in charge. At first he sought out industry experts but when they told him the truth, he became increasingly upset. One hot sweltering miserable sommer day, he brought in moore chiefs than poo in a horsefield. The chiefs proceeded to remove anyone who could truly help the company grow and soon all that was left was a bad smail and donkeys poorly disguised as unicorns. On a more serious note, you can't have a SaaS product based on "all the custom work we've ever done for any customer will suddenly be productized". DSI's idea of a roadmap is a wish list of all possible product features which can be moved up or down the list at anytime regardless if it fits anything. The sales people sell whatever they want regardless of whether the product can even come remotely close to performing. Advice if you are considering employment here, this is the most dysfunctional place I've ever worked in my almost 30 years of experience. The narcissism of the CEO is only capped by the narcissism of the chief customer officer. This company is an MBA case study on how to drive a company into the ground. A senior executive told me they paid someone to post fake glassdoor reviews. Although I can't verify this, I can assure you they contact people in the organization directly and pressure them to post reviews. If you don't, you'll likely be let go soon.

Pros

Worked with a ton of great people. All of the technologies being used are very relevant, chance to learn a ton. Supply chains are really interesting to learn about. Fun work environment where everyone really was trying to help each other succeed.

Cons

Lot of turnover when I was there, which is both good and bad. Mistakes within the tech stack in the past which still haunt the product. These are being remedied now so this should improve.
