Pros

Great benefits are offered to all employees. The property I worked on was beautiful and well revered in the city.

Cons

Lack of training, concern, and communication leaves employees feeling put out or terminated when things do go as planned. Decisions are made with no input or concern for employees who are the ones that implement those decisions. I am very disappointed after giving my best and was not shown any concern for my complaints of hostile work environment. Long time employees are protected even in potentially liable situations.

Thank you for feedback. At Davidson Hotels and Resorts we celebrate our Team Members as our most important asset, essential to our success. We strive to provide a positive and inspiring workplace. We also have an open door policy, which allows our Team Members to discuss any issue with any member of the leadership team, including the corporate office. When brought to our attention, complaints of misconduct are addressed immediately. In addition, we provide Anti-Harassment training upon hire and annually. Davidson Hotels & Resorts is a great place to work! We take care of our people and as a result, experience some of the lowest turnover in the industry. We believe in treating each team member as a guest and are committed to providing an enjoyable working experience. Each year Davidson conducts a team member opinion survey and we consistently score the highest levels of satisfaction.

I've truly enjoyed my time at Davidson. The culture is one of the company's greatest strengths and is genuinely led from the top down. Leadership is approachable, supportive, and committed to giving teams the tools and resources they need to succeed. Regional and executive leadership are engaged, accessible, and always willing to help when challenges arise. It's refreshing to work for a company that invests in its people and creates an environment where collaboration, accountability, and professional growth are encouraged every day.

Cons

Cons: Career advancement may require relocation (not a con to me but could be to some) , and some decisions can take longer yhan desired because leadership values collaboration and thoughtful planning. Overall, these are small trade-offs for the strong culture, support, and opportunities the company provides.
