Pros

Strong company leadership and direction has helped Deacom sustain success and move into new markets. BDRs are provided training and tools to help them become successful. Cold calling by nature is challenging and the learning curve to be able to sell enterprise software is very steep. Several BDRs have done well and been promoted to BD leads, Sr Sales and Customer Success. Employees are given every opportunity to grow and advance their careers. Top performers are consistently rewarded with new projects, opportunities and promotions. Most managers have been promoted within the company. Management does a good job enabling personal growth and development at all levels. Employees are treated like adults and provided more than enough flexibility. People who look for shortcuts or abuse the flexibility often don't do well here. Everyone looks forward to free lunch Fridays. Wilson Farm Park is next to the office which makes it easy to get your steps in. Flex scheduling makes commuting easier. Relaxed dress code.

Cons

The office runs cold so you need to keep a sweater handy.

Pros

Pay and benefits were okay.

Cons

Management is full of egotistical and horrible people. I've witnessed upper level management literally screaming at lower level management over trivial things/things out of their control, I've witnessed lower level management berating employees for things they are not properly trained on, and management threatening the jobs of employees is a regular thing here. Various departments are worked to the bone and understaffed. Company went through a shady buyout where the owner felt necessary to tell staff the buyout was completed effective the day before the announcement. Shows how much they care about their employees, right?
