Smaller company means you wear more diverse hats

I worked at Deccan for a year and a half and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. Although my division was restructured and my position was ultimately liquidated, I can still say that Deccan is growing in the right direction. I've read the past reviews and understand some of the frustrations of the previous posts. But please take it from someone who no longer works there and was able to see the underbelly of the company...Deccan is a strong company and management is doing everything in their power to keep the company moving forward with the employees always in mind. The staff is a talented, fun group who really looks out for one another and knows how to pull together as a team when needed. As someone who was laid-off, I have a lot of reasons to be upset with Deccan so it should speak volumes that I, in fact, continue to support the company and the staff. Yes, the company is that good. Even in hindsight, I am proud to say I worked with a lot of great minds and positive attitudes and I would encourage anyone who is looking to work at Deccan to visit the office and staff to see firsthand what an enjoyable office and company it really is.

In truth and from my experience, communication broke down a few times within management, leading to reactionary assignments that were not always the most well-thought out solutions or best use of time.
