Pros

The hours were good it was family oriented. My responsibilities eere to register new students post their tuition keep the attendace, post and deposit cash and checks, i really liked what i did. I expecially like working with the customers.

Cons

I was forced out of my position, because one of the teachers became the director after the director had been released, i felt it the moment she took over, she begin immediately picking with me, and i dont like unessary confrontations, if it's in order thats ok. This was totally out of order. I especially didnt appreaciate her dishonesty, if you feel you cant wirk with someone, you must be honest with that individual and not plot aganist them to force them off the job. What hurt so bad was that i felt there was no one to talk too, snd her supervisor allowed her to treat me like a total stranger, it was totally unprofessional. This is my comments why i begin to dislike Delgado.

Pros

The people in the CWRC are wonderful, helping students can be really fun/fulfilling at times, the availability to work remote evening is great. Especially since students don't always make appointments during your shift and don't always show up to their appointments so there are sometimes weeks where you have plenty of down time. As long as you stay away from office politics, it can be a pretty chill part-time job.

Cons

When it gets busy (midterms & finals), it's BUSY. Sometimes students use the coaches for help with assignments that have nothing to do with writing. If you are a PoC, you're more likely to be booked more often and it can feel unfair when your coworkers sit around with 0-2 appointments per day while you are booked solid for every shift. The dean of the department is more concerned with her legacy than the working conditions for coaches. And considering the required level of education required (Bachelors) , the pay is absolutely ridiculous ($17/hour). Hours are capped at 28/week.
