      There was a very nice discount rate that was accessible to me through benefits.

      Cons

      Food Lion could improve upon many things, starting with the very low pay rate(Especially considering the excessive amount of jobs that pay 12 and higher in our current economy) working on crucial holidays, such as: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, etc.

      Pros

      Advancement opportunities, 90 % of co workers and managers were really great. One of the nicest companies in terms of culture that I worked for. Last was there in 2012, so I sure many things have changed.

      Cons

      Really had a culture of rising through the ranks from being a bagger when you were in high school.- which I respect, but I saw too many mid-level managers that maybe really were given deference because they started as grocery baggers, not because they were the best qualified person for the job. Most.
