Pros
Very little pros for the company except awesome clients as the management and CEO doesn’t even uphold its own values
Cons
I would advise caution when considering employment with Delta. There have been reports of inadequate support for staff members with disabilities, leading to concerns about their treatment compared to clients. Issues raised in communications seeking assistance have often gone unanswered, particularly regarding restrictive practices. Additionally, payroll discrepancies have persisted for over three months without resolution. The on-call team has not been responsive to staff inquiries, and there have been instances of staff being removed from client assignments without provided rationale. When I brought these matters to the attention of Fair Work, I faced termination. It appears that the company lacks sufficient regard for the well-being of support workers. Management has not adequately addressed client complaints or fulfilled legislative obligations, which may put clients at risk. I experienced a significant reduction in my regular hours from over 35 per week to none for more than four weeks without explanation. This situation has also impacted my ability to access Centrelink assistance, as I remained technically employed but received no hours, compounded by unfounded allegations made against me. For those concerned about the quality of support for themselves or their loved ones, or for support workers prioritizing job security, I recommend exercising caution regarding Delta. The company has demonstrated a lack of commitment to supporting its staff effectively and ensuring compliance with Fair Work Commission directives and their obligations to treat employees fairly as required by ndis.
