Pros
-Tight nit group, managers and SDRs value relationships with one another -Most managers and leaders seem like very good people and are constantly reassuring us that they are resources for us and open to honest conversations -First workplace I’ve ever felt like my suggestions and concerns are welcomed -Path to career mobility is laid out on the very first day, a lot of opportunities for SDRs to work within the sales org but also many different departments -Readily accessible career advancement resources that are encouraged throughout SDR role such as LinkedIn Learning, learning curriculums, webinars,Deltek Speaks, etc. -Small promotions, raises, and monetary incentives within SDR role -Trusted to hit numbers without any need for micro-managing. They know that if there’s a day with less activity, that we will make up for it on another day. -Encouraged to take time off or experiment with different ways to avoid burnout -Being shown appreciation through words and incentives are frequent and there are monthly check-ins that give opportunities for one on ones. -Company has handle Covid crisis very well. Feedback from employees and experts was received and implemented. HR put together resources for people to use and leaders are reiterate the importance of taking care of your mental health and well-being. -Company implemented project nation Fridays, 1pm end of day every other Friday, to avoid burnout. Overall I️ get the sense that most people at Deltek walk the walk. Not everything or everyone is perfect, but the culture is for the most part healthy. I️ can’t Imagine having gone through the pandemic with any other employer.
Cons
Would be nice to have a few more PTO days, this is one of the few big tech companies I’ve noticed does not have unlimited PTO.
