Pros

Intuit now owns the company and will hopefully absorb the company eventually. The people that work at Demandforce are the best part about the job. It is definitely a young, fun, work hard/ Play Hard mentality. Keg Fridays, Food Trucks, a stocked kitchen and catered food often.

Cons

Low commission for a SAAS sales job in SF and it is nearly impossible to hit quota for 94% of the sales force. The company only promotes the top producers to management, many of which are young, inexperienced, and selfish managers, who rarely look out for their team since they have a high quota too. The culture is basically a Sorority and Fraternity environment and if management and upper management likes you, then there is much more opportunity and growth for those select individuals. Top performers are really just the very few people that can hit quota and maybe an accelerator if they are lucky, but even then it is low and always an inconsistent. As an Account Executive you are expected do too much. In a nutshell you must Prospect, Sell, and Manage, for pennies. In most verticals there are LDR's, but in certain verticals the LDR's only manage the Inbound Web Leads and Phone Calls, they set the demo with the AE and get a percentage of the revenue of the closed sale. Meanwhile the AE's still have to cold call every day (3 hours every day) and set their own demos, do the demos, and managing client calls all day, because customer support is less than average. If an account cancel service within the first 60 days of the sale (which happens often due to the lack of Customer Support), that paid commission is taken back out of the next commission check.
