Pros
Great benefits package. Health, dental, mental health (new), good 401(k) match once vested.
Cons
No sense of team or community. Lackluster training, especially for more specialized roles. *Personal anecdote* Was hired last year, March '21. You have to endure a 30/60/90 day review otherwise you are cut. Team lead was hired shortly before I was and didn't make it. Left working remotely, in a team with no lead, and no training for a position I had no prior experience in. Didn't do much for most of the year, but I did what was asked of me. In came new manager mid Q3 and we make it to the end of the year. No surprise I get a subpar annual review based on my job requirements (with much more responsibilities than I had been asked to do). I'm not saying it was unfair, but absolutely no consideration was made to the fact I had expected training for my role- which I did not receive. With the subpar review, it meant I did not qualify for a raise. This is a financial institution. You'd think they would know about the deleterious effects of recent inflation and its effects on worker morale.
