Pros

The staff on the ground are resilient and capable, largely because they’ve had to become self-sufficient in the absence of meaningful leadership.

Cons

Stagnant compensation: There have been zero cost-of-living adjustments or performance-based pay rises for three years. In the 2026 economic climate, staying here is effectively a choice to take an annual pay cut. Contradictory mandates: Management recently enforced a mandatory 4-day-a-week office return. In a move that perfectly summarises the culture here, the announcement was delivered by senior leadership via a video call.. Career stagnation: Pathways for progression are non-existent. Leadership is largely absent from day-to-day operations, emerging only to provide "vacuous" top-down communication that flatters to deceive but offers no substance or strategy. Logistical burden: The firm’s stance on the new mandate is "make your own arrangements." You are expected to incur all new commuting costs and logistical hurdles yourself, with zero compensation or flexibility from a leadership team that refuses to lead by example

Pros

Like most hold co's - its all dependent on your team, but the people on my team are genuinely kind and smart folks. Plus its Publicis owned, so business is actively being won

Cons

Classic agency stuff, overworked with many 50+ hour weeks. Publicis' current model is to understaff instead of layoff, so basically every team could use another person. Client has a ton of issues which is not on Digitas at all but does impact the experience.
