Pros

-Great PTO -17 paid company holidays -Free snacks and beer

Cons

- The only way to get a promotion or pay raise is to get another job offer and threaten to leave. In my year+ tenure there, the only real way to get a pay raise or a promotion was to find another offer and threaten to leave. While some staff may have received a promotion without finding another offer, it was often well overdue by about a year. Senior level management will tell you that you are "in the pipeline", which may be technically true, but the pipeline takes anywhere from 6 months at minimum to over a year. Most people leave after being in the"pipeline" for some time when they realize a promotion is never going to happen and they are being led on. Clients will comment and complain about the ridiculously high turnover. - No training or onboarding for new hires. You will be doing the job of 2+ people due to the high turnover and no one has the time or is willing to take the time to teach you how to do your job properly. This creates a lot of confusion, separate and distinctive practices, and even mistakes. -Secret meetings, gossip, petty arguments- all from Senior level management. The drama and secretive nature gets exhausting especially coming from the people who are supposed to be your mentors and leaders.

Pros

Like most hold co's - its all dependent on your team, but the people on my team are genuinely kind and smart folks. Plus its Publicis owned, so business is actively being won

Cons

Classic agency stuff, overworked with many 50+ hour weeks. Publicis' current model is to understaff instead of layoff, so basically every team could use another person. Client has a ton of issues which is not on Digitas at all but does impact the experience.
