Pros

Great people overall and a strong, open, and inclusive culture. Good benefits, 17 paid holidays, office parties, and office events. I appreciate the communication within each capability and the opportunities for continued learning & development (though this is very dependent on the client/team you're on).

Cons

Work life balance is 100% dependent on the client/account you're on. Some VP and upper management folks are incredible - others have been there for 10+ years and are somehow still there but add little value which can either stall or push ahead your career. Promotion cycles are a serious head scratcher here. Digitas definitely has a culture that is a cut above other agencies. However, HR overpromises and under-delivers leaving you feeling extremely raw and undervalued here. Slow to promote from within, quick to pounce on new college grads. HR and leadership continually blames "Paris" and sells you the koolaid that you should be operating at the next level for 6 months before even being put in the queue, and once you're put in for a promotion it is extremely rare for it to go through in one quarter. Depending on the time of the year (relevant to revenue reporting for Publicis), promos can be extended from 6mo - 1yr+, bringing the overall time period it takes to AT LEAST 1 year where you're doing the work of the position above you, and still being underpaid. It does not matter that your client has scope to be filled and there is room for promotions. This is extremely frustrating and accounts for high turnover, upending a lot of teams and leaving other employees to shoulder the burden.

Pros

Like most hold co's - its all dependent on your team, but the people on my team are genuinely kind and smart folks. Plus its Publicis owned, so business is actively being won

Cons

Classic agency stuff, overworked with many 50+ hour weeks. Publicis' current model is to understaff instead of layoff, so basically every team could use another person. Client has a ton of issues which is not on Digitas at all but does impact the experience.
