Pros

- Great working environment with an excellent location, lovely offices and fantastic facilities - Lots of friendly, interesting people with real skills and talent - Good for CV due to scale/network/client list - Standard but welcomed benefits package - You'll learn a lot - not necessarily about your field of expertise, but about personalities, nepotism and office politics!

Cons

- Rigid business model that doesn't support the changing nature of digital, still relies on monolithic design and build projects - Creative output isn't very creative, nor is it underpinned by any strong strategy - Catchcry is on quality but we build and launch the exact opposite. Some of the stuff that gets delivered here is absolutely awful - Focus is on technical build, so if you're a developer or techie, you'll be happy. Also UX are the rockstars - copy, strategy and planning less so, despite their importance - Nepotism reigns supreme. Senior management hire friends, show favour to staff going out/married to executives (despite their lack of skill/intelligence). Everyone scrambles for projects by sucking up to bosses, instead of being cast due to expertise or experience - PM's and client services generally useless - have no idea about actual work, instead always looking to pitch our latest service, rather than finding a solution that works for the client. - Exec management not equipped to run a business of this size. Needs an agency wide methodology - Huge amounts of churn - people leave every day here - Poor pay compared to competitor agencies

Pros

Like most hold co's - its all dependent on your team, but the people on my team are genuinely kind and smart folks. Plus its Publicis owned, so business is actively being won

Cons

Classic agency stuff, overworked with many 50+ hour weeks. Publicis' current model is to understaff instead of layoff, so basically every team could use another person. Client has a ton of issues which is not on Digitas at all but does impact the experience.
