It's great to hear you think the work is meaningful, there are growth opportunities and you recognize the real efforts we are making to diversify the team and create an environment where everyone is welcome and can thrive. Well now, of course I'd like to know more about which team you are on to understand your comments about competent leadership and risk aversion. I don't see it much from where I sit but I realize you have a different vantage point. As for 10+ meetings, push back, question them in whatever way you can and works in your world. I routinely ask people what the agenda is, check if the right people are being invited to it and if if really needs to be 1 hour long. The most precious thing we have is time. And remember some time it's okay to say No. (You don't need me at that meeting, I defer to you, etc.)
