Union, Hybrid, Great pay, Co-workers, Vacation 3 weeks 1-10 years then 1 week added about every 10 years maxed 6 weeks at 30 years, 2 Personal Days yearly , Off Holidays off but if worked double pay and Sick time is excellent at starting 2 weeks are at 100% pay with other days at 70% as years pass 2 more weeks become at full pay leaving less at 70% by 30 years you’ll be at 26 weeks at 100% paid.
Cons
Departmental disorganization Departments with low morale Management vs Union Pettiness & Unaccountability Picks & chooses where to be innovative mostly small ways that don’t impact the work culture. If not for Covid we’d still be 5 days in the office. And we still have 8 hour straight shifts!
