Pros

There are no goals. Dyson has laid off hundreds if US based support yesterday. Very few are left and know that it is a matter of time.

Cons

Dyson started off with all US based support. As the years went by out of the country 3rd party support has been contracted with them and little by little has taken over. However they kept US and CA based support but did not hire more. The last year or year and a half the overtake by these 3rd party companies was fierce. But the main problem with them is the support they give is atrocious. They care very little about the customers and they care very little about the company. They lie to customers and they are bleeding the company dry by giving away things that they shouldn't. In my position I speak to the customers who have had issues with these 3rd party reps and it is all the same thing I hear with all of them. They complain about them not understanding these 3rd party reps, that they don't know how to do their job, they lie to customers. I have seen countless posts asking what happened to Dysons customer support. I am sad because I devoted many years of my life with Dyson only to see it end like this.

Pros

- If your team/manager is great, that makes a huge difference - opportunity to take on huge responsibilities early in your career - camaraderie among coworkers - Some of the benefits are okay (health insurance, parental leave)

Cons

- Poor leadership with no real direction, at both the national and global level - Constant layoffs - Pay is not market rate (and they let you know that) - Everything is outsourced (designs, customer service, finance, etc.) - Dyson has become a market chaser rather than a market leader - Inflexible in-office policy (5 days, little exception) - Bonuses haven’t been paid in full in years Company is in a tail spin freefall. Jump ship while you can.
