Varied mix of people from a variety of backgrounds. Colleagues made life bearable.
Cons
Severe lack of any management or clue as to how to run a consultancy. Don’t expect to receive any training, any logical resourcing, sensible management systems, quality management, or people who know how to project manage. Full of people who know nothing but are encouraged to make things up if it tells the client the right story. I would recommend it for people who are “yes” men and women - for those who question morality of decision making, do not apply, such as lying in interviews and removing staff for them not being busy. If you’re expecting to work on sustainability projects, I hope you don’t mind also working on projects for companies with no sustainability agenda as well, but are paying enough money for the company to pretend like they’re still “pure play” sustainability.
