Pros

-Hiring is quick and easy -Managers are friendly and helpful -Work is not particularly strenuous or difficult -People stay out of your way and let you do your job - very little micro-managing

Cons

-Employees are expected to work at an unrealistically fast pace - this usually means selectively cutting corners to get the job done -The pay is too low and the hours are too short - nobody could realistically expect to pay their bills on the strength of this job alone -Very inflexible schedule, includes holidays. I often go several weeks with no days off. -Depressingly low advancement prospects -Recklessly fast hiring means often getting placed with irresponsible employees. I need to expand on how this becomes a problem for the other employees. On more than one occasion, I've been woken up at 6am by the area manager calling me to tell me I need to come in on my day off to cover for someone who didn't show up. When I was first hired, I was told I would have a 5-day work week. Now I work 7 days a week, with almost all of my days off being taken away at the last minute, usually because someone else either didn't show up, quit, or was fired.

Pros

Mid-paced & customer-facing. Database & GUI driven. Not a call-center environment, but vital to Client-Contractor relationship. Freedom to work hybrid, as needed. GxP facility, so training is expansive & up-to-date.

Cons

Wear many hats, responsible for vastly different aspects regarding subordinates & their daily/special tasks. Pay below average, due to stand-up costs & developing job opportunities while on-site. OJT almost up to par, but needs furthering via seminars, certifications.

Pros

Great benefit options Flexible 401k contribution amounts Company wants to hear how they can improve I loved my manager and my direct leadership team Great work-life balance (no real overtime and when you are off people don't bother you)

Cons

Career advancement was good when I started but has become pretty stagnant (there are a lot of entry level positions or upper management but not much in between) Hiring process has become too long
