What they produce is a very cool product. Each truck is unique in its own way, presenting its own set of challenges. I feel like the senior leadership/ ownership genuinely cares about all the employees. Cross training is strongly encouraged which was nice to learn how the whole product is built. I was always treated as a name rather than just a number. I would most likely still be working there if i didnt decide to move to another state.
Cons
At times the environment could be very high stress trying to make deadlines. But that is the case for all production facilities. Sometimes there was poor communication between departments that made things difficult to operate. It was also difficult to advance upward in the company due to lack of available open positions.
Pay was alright, Reasonable hours mon-fri 6 to 330 including saturdays from 6 to 12 so there was oppertunity for overtime. Food truck fridays and you were able to use resources to do side projects of your own. Most of the ppl there were helpful.
Cons
When all the other departments are behind it falls on general production to pick up the slack. If you miss even 1 truck of production your bonus is cut significantly. If you speak up in anyway you are fired for attendance even if you have never had so much as a written warning. Turnover rate last I checked was around 60% due to poor management and toxic work environment.
