Pros
I've been at Echo almost 5 years. The company has changed completely in those 5 years and mostly for the better. The company is young, full of excitement. If you are in sales you have to work really hard to see results, but that is sales. When I started the training program was nothing compared to what it is today. The tools we have now internally to teach you about the market and the industry, along with Salesforce to help manage your sales, make it much easier to ramp up then in the past.
If you have a desire to work hard and make money and are ready to put in the time and effort to be successful at an inside sales job - this is the place for you. I've been here almost 5 years, made over $100,000 last year and am on track to do that again. The hours are 8-5pm, management has done your job before and understands the struggles. The dress code is casual meaning jeans are okay, not just on Fridays. There is a Ping-Pong table, putting course, hot shot basketball game and video game machine to take your mind off of work when you need a break.
The other thing is that I have made so many life long friends here. The job can be tough, and there are days that are really hard, but when you are having a bad day you can always find a friend to cheer you up.
Cons
This is still a young company and things are always changing. Echo is still trying to work out the kinks and always trying new things. You have to be okay with change - whether its your seat, your manager, your team or even daily requirements.
The industry comes with highs and lows.
